U.S. Nuclear Weapons Have Been Compromised by Unidentified Aerial Objects

Military veterans who have experienced UFO activity as well as interference at nuclear sites, call on government to confirm what they already know.

********
Witness testimony from more than 120 former or retired military personnel points to an ongoing and alarming intervention by unidentified aerial objects at nuclear weapons sites, as recently as 2003. In some cases, several nuclear missiles simultaneously and inexplicably malfunctioned while a disc-shaped object silently hovered nearby.  Six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will break their silence about these events at the National Press Club and urge the government to publicly confirm their reality.

Georgia Werewolves On My Mind

Much has been made of what folks confidently boast is the State of Georgia's "only" werewolf for which there is anything like a trail of evidence. The pathetic creature of 19th century Talbot County, Georgia perhaps was only a deranged young woman with obvious Lycan predilections. Who am I to say? I wasn't there.

However, the story Linda Godfrey relates in her book, "Hunting The American Werewolf: Beast Men in Wisconsin and Beyond" is, I must confess, the most disturbing and the most terrifying to come out of my State ever. I know that sounds like hyperbole but I can still count the number of goosebumps Chapter 11 produced upon my Southern skin when I first read it. Linda relates she received a phone call from a resident of my State who was of Native American ancestry. He was somewhat bewildered by his experience and wanted someone he could trust in order to tell of his encounter.

Bigfoot or Werewolf?

Here is an encounter within a home and shared by Heidi Hollis from her blog that will make you keep the lights on.

Stacey had hoped that she could discuss things further with us on what she felt was going on, and also hoped that Amanda and I could somehow "pick-up" on what she felt was in her house.

While Stacey continued to chit-chat about some of her experiences, something caught my attention and drew me to look to my left, on the other side of the counter in her kitchen area. I suddenly found myself rising slowly from my seat. Then my arm went out and pointed, and I felt my jaw drop to say in a loud voice, "B-B-Bigfoot !"

Almost as quickly as I had said that, Amanda stood up and exclaimed, "W-W-Werewolf !"

THE GREY MAN OF BEN MACDHUI

Scotland has for centuries been a country of superstition and horrifying legends that strike terror.  Sometime ago I came across what I consider to be one of the strangest and most chilling of legends. Scotland's "Grey Man of Ben Macdhui" is at the top of my list of mysterious phenomena. As the article will explain, actual sightings of this entity are rare. It is the effects of his presence that has inflicted an irrational terror on those unfortunate to have encountered "It."

After you finish reading the article, check out the links at the bottom of the article's page for more on the "Grey Man."

The highland mountain ranges in Scotland are rough, beautiful, and magnificent places that attract many international visitors, but their slopes have a darker side that has terrified many people throughout the years.
With a height of 1309 metres (4296 feet), Ben MacDhui is the highest peak in the Cairngorms and the second highest peak in Scotland, but it is claimed that the mountain is haunted.

Many mountaineers are certain that the regions of the Cairngorms and Skye harbour a malign humanoid entity known locally as 'Fear Liath Mor' (meaning big grey man) that is grey in colour, big, and fearsome in appearance. The legends tell of these beings stalking anyone who trespassed into their territory.

Actual sightings of the Big Grey Man have been rare, but "eye-witness" descriptions of his appearance describe him as being around ten feet tall, covered in hair, with very long arms and legs.

Ben MacDhui's sinister occupant first came to widespread notice when eminent climber Professor Norman Collie made an announcement to the members of the Annual General Meeting of the Cairngorm Club during their 1925 gathering.

THE DEVIL BABY IN CANDYLAND

My Mother being a native of Louisiana and having grown up in New Orleans, I've taken a keen interest in this particular story. It is one I am sure she would have relished in the telling and she knew many. This is one she either was unaware of or chose to keep it to herself.

From Alyne A. Pustanio's website comes this unforgettable story of New Orlean's haunted French Quarter.

In the late 1960’s and throughout the 1970’s the area around the intersection of Iberville and Chartres Streets in the New Orleans French Quarter, so near to the Mississippi River docks, was a place burgeoning with bars catering to all sorts of predilections.

...the mysterious story of one of their own, a dancer named Sylvia, and her association with a strange creature they all believe was linked to the woman’s disappearance.  Rest of Story:

Paranormal Trucktivity: Chilling Bunk-Time Reading

Here's one for the books...No pun intended.

You're hauling at 62 miles per, in the middle of the night on an unlit highway near Little Big Horn.

You hear a voice:
"Can you help me?"

It's from inside your cab.

You look over your shoulder to the sleeper. Sitting there in buckskins is Custer. Yeah, that Custer. You go cold in your seat. Then he's gone.

Truckers can have some frightening experiences in this line of work, although they mostly involve speeding Honda's packed with teenagers and the truck stop chef's Special of the Day.
But the ghost of the doomed general as a backseat driver?

A Field Guide to the Mystery Beasts of the British Isles

And taken from my files for 2005 comes this interesting article about beastly goings-on in Britain; which to my understanding has not abated in the five years since. Paul Sieveking takes us on a tour of some of the most prominent.

Paul Sieveking is founding co-editor of 'Fortean Times, the Journal of Strange Phenomena'

An 'attack' in Sydenham is just the latest sighting of an alien Big Cat on these shores.
